I have a 1986 Dodge 350 camper van. It runs fun but when warmed up it is stalling, eg. Parking in a campsite

It starts fine, takes a while to warm up, but when it does, runs great. when I stop to camp, it stalls out when parking, changing from reverse to forward. Sometimes after it has warmed up, putting it into forward will stall

What makes this problem better or worse?

When the engine is warm
