why don't I have any spark

Hello, You will want to begin by checking that the ignition coil is getting power. If it is powered, look for a video for at-home methods of testing the ignition coil. Very easy. If the ignition coil is good, move to the distributor cap and rotor, and find if you have corrosion, moisture, or excessive wear. Lastly, check the spark plug wires for resistance. If there is high resistance, they should be replaced. Normally when this happens, the ignition coil is to blame, but you could have a bad ignition switch that prevents the coil from being energized.
