Why is my 2015 Chrysler T&C shuddering and stalling when coming to a stop?

2015 Chrysler T&C Touring, 80k miles, begins to shudder when slowing down or stopping and then the engine stalls. The first signs of the problem occurred after highway driving but now it's even when in town. It's possible to save it from stalling by putting in Neutral, but it will stall anyway when returned to Drive. After which, it will start but then may also stall again immediately when put in Drive. We had to repeat the restart process as many as 6 times before vehicle will stay running in Drive and you can proceed forward. It has also shuddered while accelerating from a stop but has not stalled doing that. So far, I have only had the transmission fluid and filter replaced. The problem continues. On some days it's fine, other days a big problem.
