What is your question?
So when I just bought the car they informed me that this happened once in a great while all I needed to do was take the relays out wait and I would hear I believe they said the manifold or something and I could put them in and it would run . Looked it up bought the part that was recommended to fix the problem. That lasted about 4 months. Got bad for about 2 months then disappeared didn't happen for 6 months .fast forward to now it happened repeatedly for 4 days then a week no issue . Then of course again . And to fix that problem all you have to do is take the relay out which I'm going to supply the number and what the part is called on my receipt because I replaced the relay themselves. So you can be driving no issues no way to tell it's going to happen. Shuts off you get out take the relays out wait 20 minutes and it starts runs great afterwards. Receipt States it's std ry1620 a/c cmpr rly. Please help if able no one knows why . Thank you for your time!
What makes this problem better or worse?
Pulling the relays and waiting is the only way I know to make it run again.
How long has your 2011 Chrysler Town & Country had this problem?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. It sounds like your Town and Country's issue could be related to a problem with the electrical system. Since you've already replaced the relay, and it's still happening, there may be an underlying issue with the totally integrated power module (TIPM), which is known to cause intermittent electrical issues like the one you're experiencing. The TIPM controls many of the vehicle's electrical functions, which can cause random shutoffs when it malfunctions. It may be helpful to have the vehicle scanned for stored diagnostic trouble codes to point you in the right direction. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
