What is your question?
Died with no warnings or sounds. I had power for a moment afterwards but then it died. I got a jump and when I turned the key it just clicks once. And nothing. The battery help power enough to turn the key forward and put it in gear to put it on a trailer. Now someone's stating the the harmonic balancer will not turn. But I don't know if they know what they are doing. I just replaced the battery a month ago roughly and I've been hearing the alternator whine I think during driving.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Driving through water can sometimes lead to engine or electrical issues, especially if water got into places it shouldn't. If your van died with no warning and now just clicks when you turn the key, it could be a few things. The click often indicates a problem with the starter or a related component. The harmonic balancer issue mentioned could be valid if it's seized or damaged, but it's more likely related to the starter or alternator, especially with your alternator whining. Water might have caused electrical problems or short circuits. Start by checking the starter and alternator for damage. Also, inspect for any water damage or corroded connections in the engine bay. If you’re unsure, a professional diagnostic can help pinpoint the exact cause. If you need more advice, have other questions, or need to find a certified repair shop in your area, just let me know!
