Why is my 09 showing P0231 codes and how do i fix them?

What is your question?

I have had these p0231 codes appear over the last 10 days. I research and see it is a secondary fuel pump relay failure. It just appeared with no warning.

What makes this problem better or worse?

The van starts and drives for about 5 minutes then the check engine light come on and this code.
