What is your question?
My coolant fan is not turning on ever. Even when turning ac to max. Gauge needle is reading ok never moving erratically. Seems the temperature sensor is fine since the reading is ok. Fuses and relay were swapped and still nothing. Could it be anything more besides just bad fan that needs replaced?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your 2009 Chrysler Town & Country. The electronic cooling fan not turning on in your vehicle can be caused by the fan motor itself being faulty, the fan control relay, wiring issues, an internal computer issue, among other possible causes. Your fan is designed to turn on when the engine coolant temperature reaches a certain temperature reading at low and high speeds and it is also designed to turn on when your A/C pressures exceed a certain pressure to help cool the A/C condenser itself. A faulty AC pressure sensor/switch can also create this issue. The best thing to do in this situation is to have the cooling fan control system monitored and tested to pinpoint which component is creating this concern so it can then be repaired properly from there. This testing can in many cases involve using special test equipment that most shops use to identify concerns like this here. I wish I had some better news to give you on this but due to the possible causes this does make it difficult to pinpoint the cause for this concern from here.
