What is your question?
I’m troubleshooting an 05 Town & Country 3.8 I couldn’t get a ohm value on the ambient air sensor. I am seeing where this could keep the AC from turning on the compressor. The one on the vehicle doesn’t have any resistance which it should vary as the temperature gets hotter and colder. So I went to a store and tested those and all of them are open there’s no resistance. So if there’s something I am missing because everything seems to be good on the vehicle, I’m getting voltage to it the other items I’m getting and grounds. So anybody have thought of this. Thank you for your help.

Hello, your air conditioning compressor turning on is not dependent on ambient air temperature. Your temperature control may vary with this, but the compressor will turn on regardless depending on selected mode. This is because regardless of air temperature, your compressor has the job of dehumidifying the interior of the vehicle. This happens on almost any setting. Therefore, it's my guess that you're headed down the wrong path in testing. What is the car doing? When does it do it? "Everything seems to be good on the vehicle" - so you've checked system pressure? You've checked the cycle switch? You've been able too manually engage the AC compressor coil to verify it turns on and off? The condenser fan works as designed with the AC turned on? So many areas to check; I'd strongly recommend some hands on assistance from a shop near you. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
