What is your question?
The oil pressure light on the dashboard will illuminate even though the oil pressure is fine and the crankcase is full of oil.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The oil pressure light comes on but if I shut the car off and restart it the light goes off.
How long has your 2005 Chrysler Town & Country had this problem?
More than a month

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. There are two reasons that the oil pressure warning light would come on. The first problem would be that the oil pressure of the engine is not reaching proper specifications. To test this you would hook up a manual gauge to the port where the oil pressure sending unit is located and you would measure actual oil pressure as produced by the engine. If you find that the oil pressure is within specifications then the sending unit or the wiring to the sending unit could be suspect. Testing is required. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
