What is your question?
just changed fuel pump, and coil pack engine struggles to start unless i gave it gas then it ran violently and smoked and i had to hold gas down the entire time around 1500 rpm. died when i let off gas. i was told it could be ignition positioning sensor. the day it happened i was sitting in the turn lane and a uhaul van drove past me and splashed the front of my van really bad. pulled into the gas station and shut it off. came out five mins later cranked it up and sat for a min and all of a sudden the van goes into convulsions and im thinking its not going to get me home. so i get home and have to leave again and drive it for a few hours and come home. the van got splashed on friday and i drive it for a few hours saturday. but sunday i drove it to a u pull it place and took the interstate and every now and then the motor would run worse and check engine light would flash well it got worse on way home, got it to driveway and shut it off and didnt crank again til i chaned fuel pump 2day

Hello, have you checked fuel pressure? It may be that your fuel is OK and that the air intake is your concern. The mass air flow sensor could have been contaminated, the air filter could be wet as well as your air box. Too much guesswork without hands on testing, but what you might be thinking is low fuel pressure could be adequate fuel pressure with low air flow. This is where diagnostic testing is quite helpful over guessing.
