The key/ignition in my 2002 Chrysler t&c won't turn to off. Battery keeps dying

What is your question?

Key will only turn can on but won't turn all the way off. The battery keeps dying and it needs a jump all the time

What makes this problem better or worse?

It worse when turned off for long ie every night and while I'm at work
