i had to get a jumpoff then as i was driving i noticed my speedometer and rpm hands are not working they are under the pins

I found that leaving iginiton key off and holding in the trip mileage button until a self test come up and letting off after turning the van to accessories position fixed my problem.Thanks to the person who posted this info very helpful . b
The second answer on this link is the correct answer. The ignition key was on when you were jump starting the van initially and it caused a surge of electricity. I had a similar problem with one of these about a year ago. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070908184317AA58qIU
Oh My Gosh! I am so very grateful to you and for you putting this mileage trip test remedy to reset the speedometer. It was awesome to watch as well. I was quite impressed! I thought it was going to break my budget getting a new one .. because I cannot be without a speedometer! I am happy to report 'IT WORKED'! And I literally jumped for joy ... it was like YES!
