I tried to jump somebody off and my car died it will crank it will go in reverse

This is just a shot in the dark but it might be worth trying: Remove the negative cable from the battery, turn on your headlights to drain any juice left in the wiring system and then reinstall negative cable. Its possible that your alternator went out which was probably on its last leg and jumping another vehicle was all it took to remove what little life it had. To test this without proper equipment follow these directions: With vehicle running and transmission in park carefully remove the negative battery cable, if the engine stays running then its not your alternator, if the engine doesn't stay running then remove the alternator and have it tested at your local parts store, eg, Autozone or Orielly's both offer this service free of charge.
