HAVE HYDRALUIC BREAK SYSTEM. THE PEDAL IS VERY HARD. SEEMS LIKE THE POWER BREAKS ARE NOT WORKING. wHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

this may have the early abs with the motor that fails. it has a national recall. check with your local dealer for possible warranty. Roy

Roy is right. I would just like to add that this ABS system is the exact same one the GM used in some of their cars in those years. The system was made by Bendix, not Chrysler!
