If the SRS/Airbag light is on there is a fault in the airbag system and they won't deploy in an accident. A scan tool is needed to retrieve codes stored in the computer of your car, These codes will indicate where the problem is .

Where do I need to take it to do this? Dealership? Is it expensive. I love my pt cruiser and it only has these minor mishaps that I would really like to take of but unfortunately money is tight right now so I want to get an idea of what I am looking at.
