Per the shop manual for your PT Cruiser, it requires: Mopar Antifreeze/Coolant, 5 year/100,000 mile formula HOAT (Hybrid Organic Additive technology) Regarding the concern about the losing power -- testing is really all you can do to find out what is going on. Sounds like a fuel, spark or air intake issue.
