What is your question?
The A/C was not performing adequately last fall. Took it to the shop this April and the shop said that the refrigerant was low. They recharged it and it seemed to work OK. Now its July and the cold air coming from the A/C has become weak. Took it back to the shop. They could not find a leak. Said sensors and switches are working fine. Another recharge and another $100. They have put some dye into the system to see if they can find the source of the leak. Any insights and input into A/C problems with an '06 PT Cruiser is appreciated.

Putting dye in the system is good to find the source of the leak or there is a "sniffer" that is used to locate leaks, as you come close to the source of the leak the noise from the sniffer is like a gigger counter, closer you get the more intense the noise is. If no leak can be found the leak may be from the evaporator behind the dash.
