timeing chain tensioner newrer after market looks lke its hydraulic

had to change timing chain, the new aftermarket tensioner has a week spring is this a hydrolic unit? i left the old one in cause it was so much stronger than the new one

they came with both of those as well as a pulley with an adjuster in it. Put back what it came with, check out youtube for various applications.
