oil light on

It could be a bad oil pressure sensor. The oil pressure has to be checked with a pressure gauge, if the pressure is between the specifications the sender unit is bad and has to be replaced, however if the pressure is incorrect there is an internal problem and the engine might needs to be rebuilt.
