Are you referring to the oil pressure light or the check engine light, or both? If the oil pressure comes on and there's adequate oil in the engine, get it checked out ASAP. Tow it, don't drive it because lack of oil pressure will damage the engine. If it's really the check engine light coming on, then the computer is trying to tell you that there's a fault detected in the engine or transmission control system. If so, then there are data and trouble codes stored in the computer that can be accessed by a technician with a scanner. That information would be helpful in diagnosis and repair.
