What is your question?
Car was parked for an unknown duration of time. Was running when parked from what I was told. Just bought it knowing it might need a tiny bit of work. When I try to start it it cranks over but won't start. Tried to use starting fluid and that had it running till it wasn't being sprayed anymore. Connected my OBD2 reader while let was in the on position and received the code p0462. With the no fuse message on the dash I replaced the iod fuse but the message is still there.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Not sure
How long has your 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser had this problem?

Hi! This is Bo with Car Genius at RepairPal! It looks like there's a TSB (TSB 18-026-03 REV. A) for similar symptoms it includes the P0462 code as well. Regarding the "No Fuse" light, in my research, I found that most fixes were the IOD fuse but in some cases, it was a combination switch or cluster or junction block wiring. Good luck! Hope you get the Cruiser back up and running! If you have any other questions feel free to call us at 877-913-1554! We'll be happy to help or find you a certified shop in your area!
