If you are the slightest bit mechanical, you can easily do this repair yourself. There are actually a total of 4 motor mounts for a 2.4L engine on a PT Cruiser. The 2 main supports are directly in the center of the engine on the passenger side, and directly across on the transmission on the drivers side. The passenger side is a REAL pain to change, and I would recommend letting a mechanic do it. However, there are also an upper and lower mount on the passenger side (both of which mount to the engine toward the front), so I'm not entirely sure which one you are referring to. The parts are fairly cheap online, probably in the $18 to $25 range for each one, shipped. I just change both the upper and lower mount on my daughter's PT, and did the entire job in about 2 hours being my first time. Could probably do it again in about half that time. You tube has plenty of videos showing you exactly what is involved. The upper one is held on with 3 easily accessible bolts. This mount alone could probably be changed in about 20 minutes. Hope this helps. Good luck!
