I ON LOCKED THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR TO TURN OFF THEFT SECURITY LIGHT . THE LIGHT STILL TURNS ON WHEN STARTING CAR SO CAR WONT START. PLUS I PUT IN ANEW BATTERY

Hello, If you have a spare key, try that first. Unlocking all exterior locks with the key may help the situation, but, if not, you may have a bad key. If the security light goes off when you unlock the door with the key, but comes back on when you turn the ignition, the issue is likely with the ignition lock cylinder or an electronic error within the anti-theft system circuit. A mobile locksmith can help you with the key and ignition lock cylinder, but I think you will need a shop to repair the anti-theft system if there is a fault.
