What is your question?
I accidentally pull approximately a cap full of washer fluid in my brake reservoir. Once I realized what I did I soaked up the washer fluid with paper towels until all I saw on the towel was brake fluid. Do I need to do anything else Will my car be OK. 2025 Chevy trax

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Great question! I’m glad you caught it quickly and were able to soak most of it up, however I would still strongly recommend doing a complete brake fluid flush just to be on the safe side. Brake fluid is hygroscopic which means that it absorbs water. So even though you soaked most of it up, there is still a good chance that some of the water from the windshield washer fluid has gotten absorbed into the brake fluid. Because your brakes are such an important system and because moisture in the lines can cause bigger issues down the road, it is always better to be safe than sorry.
