Water in drivers side front floor board

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! This is my second in cabin water leak today! I guess you could say when it rains it pours! Or maybe not. If your Trax has a sunroof it's best to check the drains for blockage. These can be cleard easily with compressed air. If they're clear, it could be a drain tube in the A-pillar that's become disconnected. If there is no sunroof then it could be a failing door seal or windshield seal. You can run a hose over your Trax while someone sits in the car to see if they can spot where the water is seeping in. There's also always the possibility that it's a heater core leak. Check to see if the fluid has a smell or is viscus. Usually heater core leaks tend to be on the passenger side but hey, life is weird am I right?
