Hello, Your cooling system consists of a thermostat which opens and closes to regulate optimal engine temperature, a cooling fan that aids in air flow when not driving down the road, blowing air through the radiator to cool the coolant, and a water pump that circulates the coolant through the cooling system. There is a radiator, an expansion tank, a heater core, hoses and sometimes a check valve. These are the main components. Something isn’t working properly. The thermostat may be sticking closed, never allowing coolant to flow through the engine as it gets hot. The cooling fans may not turn on. The water pump may not circulate coolant. Testing of the system is required to find out what is going on. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
