04 Suburban thermostat

What is your question?

My temperature gage was running like it was below so I figured it was stuck on I had replaced the thermostat from auto zone and it fixed the problem for a couple of days I think is was and my temperate gage is back running like it was. What can this be? I attached a picture below of the gage
