why is my service ride control light staying on

Hello, sounds like 2 concerns: The service ride control indicator comes on when a problem in the suspension has been detected by the processor that controls that system. Testing is needed ton find out what is happening. The headlights shutting off sounds like maybe a concern with the headlight switch and possibly the wiring connector at the switch. I suspect overheating along the way somewhere and possible damaged wiring.
