transmission question...ugh!!

What is your question?

I start my truck to take off for the day, put it in drive..it goes no where, put it in reverse, we back up, put it back into drive and away we go. Sometimes when I put it in drive, it does just fine, othertimes, it moves, I stop, go to take off and nada. Keep in mind this all happens in the morning...the rest of the day the truck gives me no issue. I have already changed the tranmission filter and put fresh tranny fluid in it. The truck has 133,000 on it, 5.3L engine. Any ideas?
