When I crank it, it keeps trying to die, have to hit the gas to keep it running until it warms up, any answers?
What makes this problem better or worse?
When its cold, its even worse.

Hello, only guesses, no answers. Hands on testing is needed. Could be too much air getting into the engine, not enough fuel, an emissions control issue -- all kinds of possibilities.
