Humming from generator (not sure what it is)by fuel filter on the driver side.

What is your question?

The small generator or regulator under the driver side by fuel filter is humming when the truck is turned off. I disconnect the battery to try and reset it, and it won't go off. What and why is it doing that?

Is it the ABS pump motor? Does it have brake lines going to it? Sometimes these motors stick on because of a bad ABS control module.
