tailgate issues

Hello, if the fob properly operates all other components, and all settings are properly in place, then it could be a tailgate lock actuator that isn't working properly. However, it sounds like maybe it's a setting issue -- so I'd check with your local Chevrolet dealership for guidance either way. Keep in mind you have a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty for things like this too, and may still be covered.
