What would cause one DT code u0101 and make my transmission stay in 2nd gear?

Cant tell what gear its in park, reverse or drive, doesnt haveva trailor haul mode, doors automatically lock late and dont automatically unlock when i turn ignition off, and does not display transmission temperature! Started doing this after i dis connected and replaced battery, code reads u0101 lost communication with TCM and its the only code showing
