Power to ac low pressure switch, compressor won’t engage, jumpered across switch . Ran jumper from battery to both sides of low pressure switch,arched on left side to positive nothing to right side
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, proper testing of this complex system should be performed by someone with a certification to handle refrigerants. You'll need some gauges - if not a recovery and refrigerant identifier machine - to measure system pressures. Then, if the compressor isn't turning on with proper pressure indicated, you'll need to see if the coil is getting power. If the coil is getting energized but not engaging, then you could have a coil or compressor problem. Sure, you can jump terminals to force power to see if it engages, and if it doesn't, it's further proof there's a coil or compressor issue. But, I'd start at the top and check system pressures first and see what is possibly happening from the start. I'd suggest a professional for assistance.
