What is your question?
My 2008 Chevy 2500 Duramax low beams will not turn on regardless if I switch to manual. This problem occurs randomly. Also, when it rains or I run the truck through the car wash the low beams come on their own and cannot be turned off. I have to remove the relay from the fuse block and let it sit for a day. After I let sit for a day under dry conditions the problem is fixed. How can I fix the problem? What seems to make the problem better or worse? The problem happens random and under wet conditions. How long have you had this problem? 1 month

If you call 505-424-3899 we can schedule you an appointment. The estimate for the diagnosis is $127.00. We will fallow this diagnostic approach. 1. With a scan tool, go into Body Control Module (BCM) data and monitor the headlamp switch and low beam relay command to confirm both show inactive. 2. If commands are inactive, access the BCM X5 connector, remove or cut pin 23 Pink/White wire and see if the lights go out or stay on. 3. If they are still on, check the Pink/White wire for being shorted to ground back to the underhood fuse block. 4. If the lights go out with the wire cut, replace the BCM.
