after starting and sifting into gear i cannot steer and have no bakes..

with trans in park i still cannot turn steering wheel. this is a 2007 silverado 2500hd with 6.6 duramax and allison trans. this is the 1st time this has happened. there is a code of a glowplug failure that has been in for some time. pior to parking truck everything was fine. checked power steering fluid. pump was turning and fluid level was fine. the brake pedal will not move when pressed either.

What makes this problem better or worse?
