What is your question?
Hi I bought this truck 2 1/2 weeks ago a few days later i smell burning oil then noticed my rear pass. Wheel was smoking i thought the caliper seized so I got a new one then took the tire off and realized its was the seal im not a Mechanic by any means but after watching multiple videos thought I could handle it I thought everything went well and everything was done the way I watched But none of the videos or anything that I research said anything about making reference marks before you disassemble About A-day later i felt a lite vibration when I was slowing down when I got home I jacked it up and Realise it was leaking again and I now had a lot of play in my hub that I didn't have the night before when I replaced everything I went out and got another seal because I wasn't sure if I would have to replace the one that I just put in I don't know if I can try to work the hub on more with out messing the new seal up worse or should i pull it all off again and redo it
What makes this problem better or worse?
Idk it really seemed to be fixed right after I test drove it but the next day I knew something wasn't right and I haven't drove since
How long has your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD had this problem?
Only had the work truck 2 and a half weeks

Hello, I'm sorry to say that this is not a great do-it-yourself repair, and indeed you could have a problem with the reassembly of components. It's impossible to say from here, but your intuition is likely right -- something isn't right and needs to be checked out.
