Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Silverado. The P0700 code indicates a general transmission control system malfunction, which often means additional transmission-related codes are present, like the ones you mentioned. Since you've recently changed the high-pressure fuel lines and rebuilt the fuel filter housing, there might be a connection between these repairs and the current symptoms. Given that the truck initially started and idled before shutting down, it's possible that there could be an issue with the fuel delivery system. Ensure that all fuel connections are secure and there are no leaks. Additionally, verify that the fuel pump is functioning properly and that the fuel filter is installed correctly. If you're seeing multiple codes related to the TCM, using a diagnostic scanner to read the specific transmission codes may be helpful, as they can provide more insight into what might be going wrong. Also, check the vehicle's wiring and connectors, particularly around the areas you recently worked on, as a loose connection could lead to multiple issues. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
