Hello, so am I to assume that you have an aftermarket stereo in the vehicle? If so, restore all wires in question to the original condition - and fix them by soldering and using heat shrink tubing -- the right way. Then, contact a local shop near you with experience in wiring and audio systems -- or a place like Crutchfield -- to get the needed advice to wire things properly without causing such a serious fire hazard and wiring concern. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
