Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It is a hot time and also summer in the city. It sounds like this truck is acting dirty and gritty. Given the recent temperature extremes and the cruise control incident, it might be a transient glitch related to sensors or emissions controls. Sometimes, small fluctuations in temperature or driving conditions can temporarily cause such lights to come on. Since the truck drives fine with no other symptoms, it's likely not a major issue. But it's always prudent to have a mechanic run a diagnostic scan to retrieve the specific trouble code. It being such a young truck, it's probably still under the manufacturer's warranty. Give your local dealer a call to make sure! Good luck and stay cool! If you have any other questions, please call us at 877-913-1554! We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area!
