What is your question?
If you can see my vehicle info, you'll see that I've taken it in for transmission problems regarding hard shifting, shuttering, and limp mode once my truck's trans temp reaches past 167*F and goes into full effect near 180*F. I've had a bypass put in, multiple flushes and new filters, and Flashed the ECU and TCM. I've even added a new enlarged trans oil pan along with a aftermarket dip stick so that I can ensure I'm not running low on fluid. The codes I've received lately from my scanner are P0700 (MIL Request From TCM) and P0797 (Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 3 Stuck On). Because of these codes, I'm convinced that I may need replace/repair one or both control modules and possibly replace my valve body as well. But because I have Chevy's 80L90 trans with all it's problems, I have no idea what to address next, and there are not many shops out there actually will to work on it other than replacing the whole transmission for $8K +. Any advice on how I should address this dilemma?

Hello, the really interesting thing is - 167 degrees is not that hot for engine components! But I suppose it could be too hot for the transmission. It sounds like you have addressed ways and ideas to bypass the actual problem, but when it comes down to the problem, you have not addressed it. The P0797 code is the one that needs troubleshooting. You would be best consulting with a local shop near you that has experience with these vehicles and transmissions. That's your best option. They can test hands on and give guidance as far as what next steps are even reasonably possible without replacing the transmission assembly.
