What is your question?
Hey so I was dealing with something with a check engine light on my 2.4L 2020 Silverado and as I was taking out the negative screw on the battery with a wrench I tuned the wrench and touched the 80a ANL and it caused huge sparks and when I turned on my truck I noticed my cooling fans were loud and sounded like they were at max speed. The 80a fuse that I touched connects to (G59 Engine Coolant Pump (L3B) and the (G10R Cooling Fan Motor - Right (LM2). I don’t know if I have to replace the entire battery distribution block that has a new 80a fuse or what? I checked the fuse box and tried to see if there’s any blown fuse but I can’t find any that are blown unless it’s the 80a that connects the fans in the battery distribution box. Thanks Anything will help thank you.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It sounds like you had a shocking experience with that battery distribution block! When you sparked the 80a fuse, it might have caused a short or damaged the distribution block or related components. Given that your cooling fans are running loudly, it could be related to a blown or partially damaged fuse or relay. First, check the 80a fuse again to ensure it's intact. If the fuse looks fine but the problem persists, you might need to replace the battery distribution block itself or check for any other damaged wiring or components.
