What is your question?
On my 45 minute commute from work with the outside temperature at 70f my silverado 1500 51k Miles with 6l80 is hitting 225f transmission temperature. This was all highway driving no traffic not hauling. What could my issue be? Torque converter ? Bad thermostat? At times the truck doesn't feel very responsive like when trying to over take on the highway and i give it gas it drops down a gear but doesn't feel like the power is being put to the ground.
How long has your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?
Truck is new to me I've had it for a week

Hello, why is 225 degrees a bad reading? The transmission is not supposed to have the same temperature as the outside temperature. This doesn't sound like a concern based on what I'm reading. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
