I have a vibration going on that is only when I am on the gas. Usually at a constant speed. When breaking or off the gas there is no vibration at all. Brakes pads tires are all new and tires are balanced. Even at slow speeds there is vibration. When the engine is cool I do not have any vibration but after driving for a little while it begins again

It is worse when the engine is hot
How long has your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. The vibration you feel under acceleration could indicate a few potential issues. Since it's worse when the engine is warm and happens only while pressing the gas, it might be related to the drivetrain, such as a worn-out U-joint, driveshaft imbalance, or a problem with the transmission or torque converter. These components can fail and cause vibrations as they heat up from driving. Having the driveline angles checked may also be a good idea! If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
