doors are unlocked using the remote. but they automatically lock before you can open the door. If timed correctly you can open the door and get in before it locks itself and i see the dash red light for the alarm flashing, which tells me the alarm is armed. while driving even though the doors are locked you can hear the locks clicking trying to lock. Dealer diagnosed the issue as the Positive and Negative battery cables excessively resistive and causing voltage drops across both cables. also recommended replacing the battery fuse block. both these were done but problem persists. was also advised to replace the battery in the remote, done and problem resolved for a day but now continues. Have also gone into vehicle settings and turned off the automatic and delayed locks but continues to do it.

Hello, if the key fobs are a distance away from the vehicle, so that they cannot unlock or lock the doors, does the problem continue? This is to eliminate the possibly of the fob causing the concern. A wiring issue causing the doors to automatically lock could be present. Some kind of short causing automatic locking activation. Is there any evidence of vehicle accident or water damage in the past since the problem started? It sounds like the locks are getting activated by something not commanded on purpose, which leads me to the above questions and tests. Hands on testing is needed. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554. We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area.
