What is your question?
Hello! Took my 2015 Chevy Silverado to the shop as it was stuck in 4High. Told me it was a bad transfer case motor and wanted $1500 to replace it. Spent $350 on a new one and replaced it myself, as well as replaced front differential fluid. Truck still will not come out of 4High after trying the manual reset. Does a reprogram need to be done at the shop?

Hello, after replacing the transfer case actuator, you must perform the case high/low clutch reset procedure per the workshop manual. Ignition OFF for at least 30 seconds. Engage parking brake. Place transmission in Neutral. Turn the S77 Transfer Case Shift Control Switch to the 2WD High position for at least 5 seconds. The 2WD High indicator may not illuminate. Turn the S77 Transfer Case Shift Control Switch clockwise past the 4WD Low position to the neutral request position and hold for at least 30 seconds. An audible noise from the A16 Transfer Case Motor should occur, indicating a successful learn procedure. Hopefully this works; if not, seek guidance at a local shop near you. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
