What is your question?
This last February I got my ac recharged and it held for a week. I got it recharged again and it held for two days. I didn’t leave it on when I didn’t need it at all. I’m just wondering if there’s any other reason why it wouldnt hold at all before dealing with the evaporator coil because my leak detector pointed towards behind the dash of my truck
What makes this problem better or worse?
Using the ac

Hello, air conditioning systems utilize refrigerant that is toxic to the environment when released. As a result, only people certified in handlng refrigerants (section 609 of EPA) should be doing so to prevent further damage to our environment. Also, those educated in handling refrigerants have a better understanding on how these systems actually work, and it would be advisable to let the inspect and find the source of leaks. Dye can be used to show where leaks are originating from, as well as the "sniffer" leak detectors in some cases.
