Hello, I really need the full story: what is the "accessory that has nothing to do with it"? You may think something has nothing to do with it, but perhaps it does? If you're saying the window switch and door lock switch is both not working - and we are speaking of the driver's side switches, the first place I look is the wiring to the switch to make sure there is power and ground at the switch. If there is not, I look at wiring from the switch through the door opening wire harness. But, it's all a guess, and I'll say this: Proving anything to anyone would require hands on analysis.
