i was recently in an auto accident , where i was hit in the rear while sitting still . the driver who hit me was traveling at 60 mph, before the accident , there no issues with my gas gauge reading how much fuel was in the gas tank. and now it will go from reading full to reading empty. i only have 54319 miles on the truck , its a 2013 Z71 1500
How long has your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?
it started right after i got it back from the repair shop , two days so far

Hello, I'm glad you are ok, and I'm stunned that the truck is able to run/drive at all. The fuel level sensor in the fuel tank is probably damaged, or you might have damage to the wiring or connector. Have a look, and test it once you pull it by moving the lever up and down. The gauge should move with the lever, albeit slowly.
