how do i reset the c.i.d signals.

i have tried to reset the trouble codes on the dash but it doesnt work, for instance i have changed the oil but the light continues to so needed oil change same with tire pressure and a bunch of other warning codes.i have tried to reset the cid according to instructions but nothing seems to work also my power locks dont work and i even bought a new fob but nothing, the power locks dont work on the door either, i have checked the fuses and all is good
